We made it back! No surprise, given that we bought annual passes. This time Julian and I were much more relaxed, and knew where to go get Fast Passes and where we should just wait in line. Again, Space Mountain was our first stop and not only did we not have to wait more than 15 minutes in line, but also we got to ride it twice in a row. Then, we walked over to Toy Story land to do the RC Racer again, and then Fantasyland for the Mad Hatter Tea Cups. The Tea Cups might be my favorite ride because I remember loving it ever since I was a kid. It most definitely makes me nostalgic.
After grabbing some mango soft-serve ice cream and Mickey Mouse vanilla ice cream bars, we went to Mystic Manor and rode the adventurer themed ride. I just really liked the old Victorian style of the manor house, and this ride is great to just relax and detox from the adrenaline high of the more high-speed rides.
To be honest, I was really looking forward to watching the parade all day. The Flights of Fantasy parade consisted of elaborately decorated floats, confetti balloons, bright colored costumes, and all your favorite Disney characters and music, of course. The parade was the highlight of my day. It was just what you expect when you go to Disneyland- big smiles, stunning displays, and happiness. We were not too energetic for all of the rides this time around, so we walked around the shops at Main Street U.S.A. for a little while before heading out. It was a great day because we missed the crowd, and since we have passes we did not feel pressured to cram our day.
